Design In a Day

  • This service is ideal for single-space or one-room furnishing projects where you need expert direction and confidence to move forward independently. All construction/demo would be managed outside of this package.

    Your Design Day includes a focused 2-3 hour in-home consultation offering expert guidance on:

    • Floor plan layouts and space planning

    • Paint colors and material choices

    • Furniture and accessory recommendations

    Our goal: equip you with all the tools and confidence needed to bring your vision to life.

The Process

FULL-SERVICE DESIGN

  • A custom questionnaire will be given for you to submit. Once completed, your consultation will be scheduled in person or via zoom call. We will discuss your design vision and how we can collaborate. Understanding your vision and how you want your space to function is important to us.

  • Using your input - floor plans, inspiration images, Pinterest boards, and budget parameters - we develop a comprehensive design concept. Through mood boards, color palettes, and finish selections, we ensure alignment on the creative direction before moving forward. This phase is crucial for establishing a shared vision.

  • With designs approved, we move into execution - managing quotes, sourcing, and purchasing for every element, from finishes to furnishings. We collaborate with trusted trade partners and contractors to ensure each detail is handled with care and your project unfolds seamlessly from construction to installation.

  • We coordinate all procurement and vendor management to bring your project across the finish line. Our goal is a single-day installation for most projects (larger renovations may require additional time). We handle every detail so you can simply enjoy the grand reveal of your transformed space.

DESIGN IN A DAY

  • After completing our custom questionnaire, we'll schedule a preliminary phone or video consultation to discuss your vision and goals. This helps us understand exactly what you're looking for and how we can best support you.

  • We'll collect all necessary information - floor plans, inspiration photos, Pinterest boards, and budget details. This preparation ensures we maximize our in-home meeting time and arrive fully prepared to address your specific needs.

  • During your 2-3 hour in-home session, we'll:

    • Tour your space and take measurements

    • Discuss design concepts and space planning

    • Select paint colors and materials

    • Provide furniture and styling recommendations

    • Address any specific design challenges

    Each consultation is tailored to your unique needs and goals.

    Following the meeting, we refine your feedback into a finalized design and layout, providing the tools and guidance to implement it independently.

  • You'll have email access to our team for four weeks following your Design Day, ensuring you have the support needed to confidently implement your new design plan.
